Lead Chaperone Roommate Finalization
Lead Chaperones must pair all teens with roommates and identify teens that need a roommate from another delegation. After Friday, December 4, National 4-H Council will assign based on the information provided for each ticketholder. No roommate changes will be made after this date unless a guest is no longer able to attend and the replacement is a different gender and/or over/under 18 years of age.

Chaperone Volunteer Interest & Availability Due
Adult ticketholders have the choice to opt in to volunteer onsite at Ignite. If interested, availability must be provided by this date.

Proxy Teen Workshop Registration Open
Proxy registration allows a parent/guardian or chaperone to register a teen for workshops on the teen’s behalf. This functionality will not be available to proxies until January 13 at 3 p.m., regardless of whether the teen qualifies for an earlier registration period.

Teen Workshop Registration Closes
Teens that do not register by the deadline will be assigned to open workshops.

Lead Chaperone Form Due
This form will include your group’s arrival and departure times, Program Showcase sign-up, opt-in for optional meals, etc. It will open Friday, December 4, 2026 and must be completed by Friday, January 22, 2027.

Edit Access Closes to Ignite Portal
After this date, the Ignite Portal will become read-only for all guest information. National 4-H Council cannot guarantee guest changes or substitutions after this deadline due to rooming and event logistics. Please email any requests to events@4-h.org.

Offsite Educational Experiences Registration Opens
Registration will open to all Lead Chaperones that have completed the Lead Chaperone Form and all of their guests have completed their COC Forms. We encourage you to be prepared to apply on Wednesday, January 27 as these experiences will fill quickly. We will fill them on a first-come, first-served basis. Delegations that do not register will be responsible for their own plans and lunch for their delegation at Ignite on Friday, March 19.

Ignite Portal Attendee Review
Lead Chaperones should plan to review all their attendee information in the portal for any questions about hotel confirmation numbers, rooming assignments, workshop assignments, etc. Please plan to review this in detail to ensure we can make adjustments prior to our team traveling to Washington DC to ensure a smooth event.
