For four days, teens from all over the country come to Washington D.C to collaborate, connect, and cultivate a passion for expanding their minds and their world – becoming resilient and ready for everything life has to offer. Teens will immerse themselves in hands-on workshops, experiences, activities in their key programming areas of Agriscience, Animal Science, Community Accelerators, CWF @ Ignite, Healthy Living (featuring soccer), or STEM to continue to find their spark. With the addition of public speaking, career and life readiness, and presentation workshops, teens will be able to apply what they learn to their own lives and take a step forward to become Beyond Ready for the future.

Ignite 2026 continues to provide teens with opportunities to explore traditional and emerging career paths, build confidence, and connect with peers from across the country (and even world).
A limited number of full scholarships are available for youth (and their chaperones) who demonstrate significant need and would benefit greatly from this opportunity.
Preference will be given to applicants who may have limited access to resources or support. All teen scholarship recipients will be required to submit a Lead to Change (L2C) project.
Are you a 4-H educator or leader with expertise across multiple topic areas? Help us shape Ignite programming and planning. The Ignite Design Team plays a key role in promoting the event, developing programming, selecting workshops, and support on-site operations—while ensuring the summit reflects the interests and needs of today’s teens.
Selected Design Team members will receive free registration.
We are accepting proposals across all 6 tracks and multiple topic areas! We encourage teens to apply with an adult mentor or with another teen to continue to build leadership and presentation skills.
Preference given to teen workshop presenters. Selected presenters will receive two (2) registrations—one teen ticket and your choice of one additional teen or one adult ticket. Travel costs are not included or provided.
